I had the original Gush, but I think I wore it down - just stopped working. I decided to treat myself to the Gush 2. First impressions: The packaging felt really premium, a bit like unboxing a new phone. I liked that it came with the required charging cable and minimal paper instructions — all I had to do was scan a QR code and I was ready to go with the app. Super easy!
The app: Once downloaded and installed, I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of features at first. But once I started playing around, most of it was pretty self-explanatory. I did find that some functions - mainly the games and the sync-to-adult-video feature - didn’t seem to work properly, but that might’ve been user error with the video side of things.
In use: When it came time to strap in, the supplied strap felt a bit fiddly to attach, and I only used the toy dry as a static toy - I imagine with lube it may be a bit less of a mission to get the strap on securely. The toy is quite weighted, so it doesn’t stay on by itself - for the average size, the straps are definitely necessary! That said, it did bring me to orgasm every time, hands-free, just using the patterns other users have uploaded. So no complaints there!
I haven’t yet shared the toy’s link with anyone else for remote control, but I’m excited to try that next - I can see how that could really add something extra.
Cleaning: Being fully waterproof makes it super easy to clean, and using it in the shower was fun too.
Final thoughts: For a retail price of $200, I do think it’s a bit steep - but I haven’t explored the full shared/anonymous control side yet, so I can see how that aspect could make it worth it for some people. I appreciate this website offering it a bit lower cost (I think what it should be).
